What is your vision?
We meet with you, the client, to get a general understanding of the direction and vision you have for your new website. Initial feedback from the client is crucial. The more specific the direction and vision, the better we can closely match your expectations.
Getting Underway
We take the results of that initial meeting and begin construction on your new site. Our designers will create one or two mockups that we feel represent your vision. During this time, the project will be placed on a test server that will allow the client to closely view the ongoing site construction.
Refining your vision
Once the initial mockup or mockups are created, it will be up to you, the client, to inspect the work. It is important that the client make any corrections at this time. The greater the understanding between the client and the design team, the better the finished product will be.
Your Project is a GO!
Through the process, your site should become a clear representation of your vision and goals for the project. Once we get your final approval of the work, then your site will be ready to unveil to your waiting consumer base.
HOSTING YOUR SITE-
Whether you host with us or another web host company, it is our goal to make your experience as painless and productive as possible. We strongly urge all of our design clients to host their site with us as it just makes better sense to have the constructors overseeing its maintenence. Because we know how your website was built, we already have an instant advantage over any third party host company.
While we specialize in Custom Web Design, we also offer templates as a starting point.
There are advantages and disadvantages to choosing to start from a template rather than from scratch.
The biggest advantage is that a template gives the client an idea of how the finished product will look. The client sees what they like and they know what they are getting. Often times, beginning with a template can be much less cost prohibitive than going with a full custom website. The client chooses the template and the designer alters it to fit the client's vision.
The biggest disadvantage in going with a template design is that the same template may have been used by others, thus making the site unoriginal. This certainly doesn't effect the way the site performs, and is simply a matter of preference. While many clients do not mind whether or not their site is unique, there are still others who prefer to have an original-looking website.
If originality is your preference, then our Custom Web Design service is probably better suited for you.
